Hours: Full-time, September start, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent
Pay: £89 per day

Axcis is partnering with a mainstream Primary school that supports students with ASD and learning difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in providing daily support, helping to create a positive, caring, and stimulating learning environment.
What you will be doing:
• Providing 1:1 classroom support
• Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning plans in a nurturing, structured environment
• Helping to create a safe, positive space that encourages engagement and growth
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support individual progress
What we’re looking for:
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND -Desirable
• Confidence working 1:1 with students
• A calm and consistent approach to behaviour management
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to students’ individual needs
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Passion for inclusive education and making a difference
• Driver – Desirable
Graduates in fields such as sociology, psychology, sports, music, art and drama are also highly encouraged to apply!
