Axcis Education is excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and dynamic MFL Teacher to join a vibrant school in Rochdale, Lancashire. We are looking for a dedicated professional who has a genuine love for teaching and can deliver lively and engaging lessons in either French or Spanish up to GCSE level. This role is suited to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) who are looking to start their journey in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver outstanding and innovative lessons in French or Spanish up to GCSE level, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are engaged.
- Monitor, assess, and report students' progress systematically, and use the data to inform teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the creation of a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take intellectual risks and engage with the language learning process.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the MFL curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
- DBS on the update service.
- Experience in teaching within UK schools is highly desirable.
- Capability to teach either French or Spanish up to GCSE level is essential.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- A strong commitment to personal professional development.
- Enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECT) are encouraged to apply.
