About the Role As a Primary Teacher, you will lead a small class of Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils often alongside additional diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, attachment difficulties and trauma-related needs. Your role will focus on creating a safe, predictable and engaging learning environment where pupils can begin to rebuild trust in education. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a highly differentiated curriculum that is accessible, engaging and tailored to individual needs. Lessons will often need to be flexible, creative and responsive, balancing academic progress with emotional regulation, relationship-building and personal development. You will also play a key role in tracking progress, contributing to EHCP targets and working collaboratively with wider professionals and families to ensure joined-up support for every pupil. The ideal candidate will bring: * A strong understanding of the primary curriculum. * The ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced educational disruption * Experience in adapting curriculum content to meet a wide range of learning needs * Confidence in managing challenging behaviour using positive, consistent and relational strategies * A calm, reflective and resilient teaching style * A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners Experience with ASD, ADHD, de-escalation techniques or restorative approaches would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
