Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to join our pool of educators in the Chorley, Lancashire area. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, providing high-quality education and maintaining a positive learning environment for students on a day-to-day or part-time basis.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver engaging and educational lessons to children in a primary school setting.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Implement schools' curriculum, teaching methods, and policies.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate work.
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and behavior.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet varying needs and interests of students.
- Ensure that lesson objectives and learning outcomes are met.
- Provide a high standard of professional practice and quality of teaching.
- Be prepared to travel to different schools within the Chorley area, often at short notice.
**Qualifications:**
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Possess relevant teaching experience in UK Primary Schools.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Display excellent classroom management skills.
- Be adaptable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Have a current Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
**Skills and Attributes:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with a wide variety of individuals including students, parents, and staff.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
- Confident in the use of technology and educational software/tools.
