Job Title: Primary SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Barnet) Start date: ASAP | Full-time Axcis are working with a friendly primary school in Barnet who are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD and communication difficulties, some of whom are non-verbal and may require personal care. The school are looking for someone who can bring patience, creativity, and resilience to the role – a TA who isn’t afraid to think outside the box to help children engage, learn, and thrive. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support, using a variety of strategies to build trust and encourage independence.
