Start Date: ASAP Location: Oldbury Position Type: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days per week, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day Long-term opportunity We are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oldbury. This role is available on both a full-time basis and part-time (minimum of 3 days per week), with an immediate start. The school is looking for a supportive and patient individual to work closely with pupils who have additional needs, helping them to access learning and feel confident within the classroom environment. You will play a key role in ensuring children receive the encouragement and structure they need to succeed. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs • Assisting the class teacher with adapting lessons and learning materials • Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing • Encouraging independence and building pupils’ self-esteem • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff We Are Looking For Someone Who: • Has experience working in a primary school or supporting children with SEN • Is calm, patient, and resilient in their approach • Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff • Is flexible and able to adapt to different classroom environments • Has strong communication and teamwork skills • Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one) Refer a Friend: If you know someone who would be interested in this role, ask us about our referral scheme and how you can earn a bonus.
