The Role As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will take responsibility for teaching a KS1 or KS2 class, depending on your experience and strengths. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons. Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils. Assessing and monitoring pupil progress. Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations. Working closely with parents, support staff and the senior leadership team. Using technology, including Google Classroom, to enhance learning. Adapting teaching approaches to meet the changing needs of pupils and the school. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in a UK mainstream primary school. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Confidence using educational technology, including Google Classroom, or the ability to quickly learn new systems. A nurturing, adaptable and proactive approach.
