Position Type: Full-time preferred (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Part-time opportunities available – minimum of 3 days per week
Pay: £89 per day

We are looking for a Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Bromwich, with an immediate start available.
This role offers a long-term opportunity, ideally on a full-time basis, supporting pupils with additional learning needs. You will work closely with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them engage with lessons and develop both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
• Support the delivery and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Encourage pupils’ learning, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
Requirements:
• A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a school or SEN setting is beneficial but not required
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
