Job Title: Primary ASD Teaching Assistant- Birmingham
Axcis have a vacancy for a teaching assistant at a well respected primary school in south Birmingham who require long term support for a child with ASD. This role will include supporting a 11 year old pupil with severe ASD and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis. To be considered for this role you must be resilient and able to deal with challenging and sometimes confrontational situations. Therefore a calm nature and ability to de-escalate situations is essential as is a can-do attitude towards work. The school has a very friendly atmosphere and a supportive environment, and is well liked by all staff we have sent to them in the past. This is a temporary position.
