Job Title: Premises Officer – Temporary Assignment (Starting Week Commencing 15th December)
Axcis Education is seeking an experienced Premises Officer for a temporary facilities role starting the week commencing 15th December. The site will be closed from 25th December to 1st January (inclusive).
About the Role:
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of a large educational premises, ensuring the environment is safe, secure, and well maintained. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and reliability.
Key Details:
• Start date: Week commencing 15th December
• Working hours: 8-hour shifts between 6am and 6pm
• Rota: 2-week shift pattern
• Duration: Ongoing temporary cover
• Closed: 25th December – 1st January
Essential Requirements:
• Previous premises, caretaking, facilities, or site maintenance experience
• Ability to drive a manual van
• MiDAS qualification (highly desirable)
• Strong practical skills (basic repairs, health & safety awareness, site security, etc.)
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
Desirable Experience:
• Working within school or educational environments
• Knowledge of compliance checks and building procedures
