Job Title: PMLD Teaching assistant
Are you a recent graduate or experienced teaching assistant looking for a new role supporting special needs pupils in Wallington? Axcis Education is collaborating with an innovative primary school in Waltham Forest to find a passionate teaching assistant to begin as soon as possible. This school strives to create a nurturing environment where children from all backgrounds and abilities can thrive. In this role, you will work one-on-one with a Reception pupil with autism. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain experience working with students with SEND. Ideal candidates will: Have previous experience as a teaching assistant or hold a graduate degree. Approach each day with a willingness to learn and improve. Possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team. Love working with children and demonstrate empathy in your approach. Understand autism and how to support children with this condition. Be available full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (with some flexibility for 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM).
