JOB WORKING HOURS:
Axcis is working with a fantastic Secondary alternative provision in Gloucester who want to employ a Maths Teacher with SEND experience to teach KS4. The provision has been rated as outstanding by OFSTED, it uses many alternative approaches and is popular with all our staff that we've placed there. There is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work.
This is a full time role, five days a week starting in September and running till the end of the term. The ideal candidate must have experience working as a Maths teacher for secondary aged children who are studying KS3 and KS4. If you can teach other subjects that would be an added bonus. You will be teaching students in small groups of up to ten maximum.
You must have effective classroom management skills to be considered for this role. The right candidate will be an inventive and positive teacher who has a calm nature and is a positive role model. The successful candidate will have QTS and a PGCE. You will need to hold an up to date DBS certificate on the update service otherwise you will have to get a new one with us. You will also need to be able to provide a detailed, work history with two contactable references to be considered for this role.
