Position: Mainstream Teacher Location: Wandsworth, London Type: Full-time (8:00?am – 3:30?pm, Monday-Friday) Salary: Paid to scale Overview We are seeking a dynamic, student-focused Mainstream Teacher to join our thriving community school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction across the national curriculum, fostering an inclusive, safe, and motivating learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Year?[Specify] students, aligning with the National Curriculum and school’s academic targets. • Implement differentiated strategies to meet the varied needs of learners, including those with SEND and EAL. • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour, providing timely feedback to parents and guardians. • Contribute to whole-school initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development programmes. • Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils. Essential Qualifications & Experience • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England. • Minimum 2?years teaching experience in a mainstream primary/secondary setting. • Strong classroom management skills and a proven track record of improving pupil outcomes. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities. Desirable • Experience with the latest educational technology and blended learning approaches. • Post-graduate qualification (e.g., PGCE, MA Education).
