Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 08:00?–?15:30

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive educational team in Kingston. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide tailored support that enhances learning outcomes and fosters a positive, safe classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, delivery, and differentiation for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support, reinforcing concepts and encouraging independence.
• Monitor student progress, record observations, and communicate insights to teachers and parents.
• Implement agreed-upon behaviour and safeguarding strategies, promoting a respectful learning atmosphere.
• Prepare learning resources, adapt materials, and utilise assistive technologies as required.
• Contribute to the development and review of individual education plans (IEPs).
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics; Level 2/3 qualification in Learning Support or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting children with diverse learning needs in a school setting.
• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
