Job Title: Learning Mentor
Learning Mentor – Post-16 SEN College – Barking & Dagenham From £95/day | Post-16 College | Barking & Dagenham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are supporting a Post-16 SEN College in Barking & Dagenham that helps young adults aged 16–25 build independence, confidence and employability skills. The college has an inclusive, community-driven ethos, offering bespoke learning programmes for students with autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. In this role, you will be: • Supporting learners in functional skills, life skills and vocational subjects. • Encouraging independence through travel training, workplace taster sessions and community projects. • Helping students develop resilience, communication and problem-solving skills. • Working collaboratively with tutors, therapists and external partners. What we’re looking for: • Experience supporting young adults with additional needs (education or youth work). • Patient, positive and adaptable attitude. • Genuine passion for helping learners transition successfully into adulthood.
