Job Title: Learning Mentor – KS2 and KS3 Location: North Somerset Pay Rate: £89 per day Job Type: Part-time – Term Time Only (Temporary or Long-term) Hours: 30.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, during school hours) Are you passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning? We are seeking a caring, resilient and proactive Learning Mentor to join a supportive middle school in North Somerset, working with pupils aged 9–13 who may need additional academic, emotional or behavioural support. About the Role: As a Learning Mentor, you’ll work closely with pupils across Years 5 to 8, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them stay engaged in learning, manage their emotions, and develop confidence and independence. You’ll play a key role in identifying individual needs and working alongside the SENCO, teachers, and pastoral staff to implement strategies that help each pupil thrive.
