About the Role:

• Track progress, maintain clear records, and communicate effectively with staff and families
• Support learning both inside and outside the classroom, including during transitions and breaktimes
• Participate in school events, enrichment activities and occasional educational visits
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils
Who We’re Looking For:
• Someone empathetic, calm, and emotionally intelligent
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs in education or care settings
• A flexible team player who can build positive relationships with pupils aged 9–13
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths are essential
• Understanding of SEND, mental health, or behaviour support is highly desirable
• Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g. safeguarding, mentoring, Team Teach)
Why Join This School?
• Make a Real Impact – Help children gain the confidence and support they need to succeed
• Friendly Environment – Join a welcoming, community-focused middle school
• Supportive Team – Work alongside a skilled SEN and pastoral team who value collaboration
• Term Time Hours – 30.5 hours per week with all school holidays off
• Weekly Pay – Earn £89 per day with regular weekly payments
• Ongoing Development – Access to CPD, training, and mentoring
