Job Title: Learning mentor required for secondary school in Newham
JOB LOCATION:

Axcis are currently working with a lovely secondary school in Newham who are seeking a behaviour specialist or behaviour learning mentor on a full-time basis, to work on a 1; 1 basis with KS3-4 students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. This role is to start in September 2020. Monday to Friday at 8am - 3.30pm, timekeeping is a MUST with this position. This position will be very suited towards an LSA that can be a positive role model to the student. The students have a very complex background and a majority are currently looked-after children, to which the role requires full commitment both in timekeeping and full-time attendance and consistency! More information on the student will be provided on application. I am currently looking for; - 1:1 learning mentor with challenging behaviour or SEMH experience - This is for a secondary school in Newham. - Able to work full-time, from 8am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday - Willingness to undertake team teach training - The school have stated the role would also suit someone from a youth worker background. Passion for supporting children with special needs. Experience supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. Able to provide a fun and interactive environment for the students. Able to fully commit for a year long contract. Have a real passion for supporting SEND students; see it more than just a job.
