The Role: KS2 Teacher (SEND Focus)
We are looking for a skilled and reflective Key Stage 2 Teacher who:
• Has proven experience teaching in KS2
• Has strong knowledge and practical experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Can adapt planning to meet a range of learning needs
• Is confident implementing EHCPs and personalised learning plans
• Uses inclusive teaching strategies to ensure all pupils succeed
• Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils and families
• Creates a calm, engaging and purposeful classroom environment
• Works collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants and external agencies
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, engaging KS2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Differentiate learning to support a range of abilities and additional needs
• Track and monitor pupil progress, ensuring all children make strong progress
• Support pupils with SEND through tailored interventions and inclusive practice
• Contribute to whole-school improvement and inclusive provision
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

Essential Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECT's may be considered.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
