Axcis are recruiting for a dedicated HLTA to join a supportive primary school in Havering with a Good Ofsted rating and a strong focus on inclusion and pupil progress. This school values initiative, collaboration and high-quality intervention work. With excellent parking and good transport links, it’s easy to reach from East London and Essex.
In this role, you will be:
• Leading small-group interventions in literacy, numeracy and targeted SEND support.
• Providing high-quality classroom cover when teachers are absent, maintaining continuity of learning.
• Supporting children with SEND needs including autism, ADHD, speech delay and MLD.
• Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to track progress and adjust intervention plans.
• Helping create a positive, supportive classroom environment that motivates all learners.
What we’re looking for:
• HLTA qualification or strong evidence of leading learning in a classroom.
• Experience delivering interventions or supporting SEND pupils.
• Confident behaviour management and positive communication.
• Reliable, organised and enthusiastic professional who enjoys varied responsibilities.
