Location: Bromley, London
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time | Term-time | Long-term
A mainstream college in Bromley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 and small group support to SEND students enrolled in Hair & Beauty courses. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people with additional needs, including autism and ADHD, within a vocational learning environment.
The Role:
• Provide tailored in-class support to learners with EHCPs or additional needs
• Support students in both practical and theory-based Hair & Beauty lessons
• Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence within the classroom and salon
• Help manage behaviour and sensory needs calmly and professionally
• Collaborate with tutors and the SEN department to ensure students progress in line with their goals
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience supporting SEND learners
• Familiarity or interest in Hair & Beauty or vocational learning environments
• Confident working in a college or post-16 setting
• Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to support
• A current enhanced Child and Adult DBS dated within 3 years
