Job Title: Full Time Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in specialist education settings in the Trowbridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with transferable skills who are passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people. As long as you have the right attitude, empathy, and commitment, we can support your transition into education.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who have:
• Experience supporting young adults or children with special educational needs
• Worked in care, youth work, or other support-focused roles
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• The ability to focus on both outcomes and each student’s individual journey
You will need to be approachable, able to work with children of all ages, confident working independently, and comfortable being part of a wider team.
We regularly offer fixed-term placements in specialist schools, many of which can become permanent for the right candidates. If you’re looking for a career change or a way to break into education, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Start date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Roles available: Full-time and part-time
