Supply Jobs for SEND Teacher Jobs

Job Title: Full-Time SEND Secondary School, Teacher, Autism (ASD), Barnet
London - North
One of our fantastic SEND secondary schools in the Barnet area currently require a full-time specialist teacher who has experience supporting children with autism (ASD). The role will require you to have knowledge of the national curriculum. This is a medium sized SEND secondary school with amazing public transport links, with the nearest station being a few minutes away. The school specialises in autism (ASD), and as such have access to speech and communication therapists. They also make use of teaching assistants (TA) within the classroom as to other further support for students as well as teachers. To be considered for this full-time autism (ASD) teacher role, you will have had previous teaching experience in working with children with autism (ASD) in a mainstream or SEND secondary school setting. You will require a QTS or PGCE qualification, as well as a DBS on the update service. The school is a vibrant and happy place and as a result, they are searching for a dedicated individual who can bring about an enjoyable experience for students and staff alike. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Jake Aujla at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
