Depending on the school and role, you could be: • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups • Helping pupils access their learning and develop independence • Supporting children and young people with SEND • Providing social and emotional support • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement • Working alongside teachers and other support staff • Gaining experience across different age groups and educational settings We're looking for people who are: • Patient, caring and reliable • Adaptable and comfortable working in different environments • Confident building positive relationships with children and young people • Resilient and able to remain calm when faced with challenging behaviour • Genuinely interested in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning Previous TA experience isn't essential. Experience in childcare, care work, youth work, coaching, mentoring, tutoring or volunteering can all provide valuable transferable skills.
