Job Title: EYFS/KS1 SEND Teacher
SEND Teacher – Mainstream Enhanced Unit (EYFS & KS1)
School in Hounslow
A school in Hounslow is seeking a full-time SEND Teacher to work within its mainstream enhanced unit, supporting children with communication and interaction difficulties, most of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
This role is for EYFS and KS1 pupils and is suitable only for teachers with extensive experience in ASC and early primary education.
The Role
• Teaching pupils with ASC within an enhanced provision
• Delivering highly adapted and structured lessons
• Creating a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment
• Working closely with support staff, SENCo, and external professionals
• Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Essential Requirements
• Extensive experience working with pupils with ASC
• Strong EYFS and KS1 teaching experience
• In-depth understanding of communication and interaction needs
• Ability to plan and deliver personalised learning
• Commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations
