Job Title: Complex Needs Teacher Location: Wandsworth, London Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Complex Needs Teacher to join our team in Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education tailored to students with diverse and complex needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with complex needs. • Foster a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes engagement and learning. • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to deliver a holistic approach to education and support. • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique requirements. • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and stakeholders to provide updates on student development. • Qualifications: • A valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) with experience in special education or complex needs settings. • Strong understanding of the principles of inclusive education. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
