Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASD Teacher to join our team in Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and demonstrate a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Foster a classroom atmosphere that promotes social skills, emotional development, and academic growth.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support for each student.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and facilitate learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
