We have an SEND teaching assistant job for a qualified teaching assistant with experience of working with ASD pupils. Are you an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant? Axcis Recruitment is looking for an experienced Specialist Autism Teaching assistant to join a School based in Slough. This 'Good' Ofsted rated School is looking for experienced ASD teaching assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with a non verbal year two pupil. This position would be to start immediately and will be a part time position between the hours of 12.30pm and 3.30.pm Ideal Candidate: - An experienced special needs teaching assistant. -Energetic, enthusiastic and hard working -Experienced in and passionate about working with pupils who have autism -Conscientious and innovative -Able to use your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible education for learners. -Confident in dealing with children who may sometimes display challenging behaviours.
