JOB LOCATION:

ASD Teacher, Mainstream Secondary School, South West London An Ofsted outstanding secondary school located in Putney, South West London are looking to appoint a qualified teacher with experience of working with ASD pupils. This long term role, starting ASAP until the end of the academic year will see the right candidate lead a small ASD class of around 5-8 pupils in both KS3 and KS4 year groups and will consist a mixture of individual 1-1 help and/or group work. Within the Academy there is a specially equipped Learning Support area staffed by three fully qualified Learning Support teachers. To assist them in their work the Academy also has a Welfare Support Assistant and a Nurse. You would be joining this group of teacher to assist them with their teaching of classes and provide the guidance and help pupils need. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
