Job Title: ADHD Teaching assistant
Location: SW15, London
Start Date: Monday 1st September
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: Paid to scale (based on experience and qualifications)
Are you passionate about supporting young people with ADHD to thrive in a structured, inclusive learning environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ADHD Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in a forward-thinking school located in the SW15 area.
The Role:
As an ADHD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and SEN specialists to support pupils with ADHD, ensuring they can access the curriculum, manage their behaviour positively, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ADHD
Implement strategies to support concentration, engagement, and emotional regulation
Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions
Foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
Track and report on student progress
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with ADHD or other SEN needs (school or care settings welcome)
Calm, patient and adaptable
Strong behaviour management skills
Passion for inclusive education and making a real difference
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
