Job Title: ADHD Teacher
Position: ADHD Teacher Location: Teddington, Greater London Schedule: Monday-Friday, 08:00?–?15:30 (Full-time) Salary: Paid to scale Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated ADHD Teacher to join our specialist learning team in Teddington. The successful candidate will design and deliver differentiated, evidence-based instruction for children and adolescents with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, fostering academic progress, executive-function skills, and emotional regulation within a supportive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop individualised education plans (IEPs) aligned with each pupil’s strengths, needs and statutory targets. • Implement multi-sensory teaching strategies, behaviour-management techniques and assistive technologies. • Monitor progress through formative assessment, data analysis and regular reporting to parents and senior staff. • Collaborate with educational psychologists, speech-language therapists and other specialists to ensure holistic support. • Provide targeted interventions, small-group instruction and one-to-one tutoring as required. • Lead professional development sessions for staff on best practices for ADHD learners. • Maintain accurate records, adhere to safeguarding policies and promote an inclusive classroom culture. Essential Qualifications & Experience • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a minimum of 2?years teaching experience. • Proven experience working with students diagnosed with ADHD (primary or secondary education). • Strong knowledge of current ADHD research, interventions and statutory frameworks (e.g., SEND Code of Practice). • Excellent communication, organisational and reflective practice skills.
