JOB TITLE / ROLE:
1-1 Teaching Assistant Required for Child with Cerebral Palsy- Bradford on Avon - Wiltshire - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Axcis are pleased to be working with a mainstream primary school in Bradford on Avon who're seeking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work 1-1 with a Y3 child with cerebral palsy till the end of June. The role is part time and the hours will be 8:30-3:30pm Monday to Wednesday. This is a great opportunity to join a large school with brilliant leadership and structure. The school has been rated as excellent by Ofsted and its popularity amongst parents, children and staff is clear.
The school has beautiful grounds, excellent parking facilities and great links to local public transport. The position is general KS2 in-class support - you will be supporting the child with their literacy and numeracy and will need to do some personal care and manual handling. The child struggles with their mobility and uses crutches. Ability to use Makaton is essential and the school is seeking a person with a friendly, can-do attitude who can quickly establish a trusting relationship with the child.
Axcis is the only agency in the UK that focuses exclusively on SEND recruitment and you will be offered training to support you through your own professional development.
