Axcis Education was founded in 2001 and recruits staff solely to work with SEND pupils. We have offices nationwide and offer temporary and permanent placements for TAs, HLTAs, LSAs, therapists, teachers, SENCOs, Deputies and Head Teachers. We believe that “in order to do well we must do good” and are firmly committed to the education and future of those vulnerable young people we ultimately support.

We have a very well developed database of teachers and support staff experienced in working with individuals on the autistic spectrum (ASD), those with severe learning difficulties (SLD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex needs and many other types of SEND as well as mainstream.
We provide training for our candidates in a variety of areas including Team Teach, PECS and Makaton Tasters, Managing Challenging Behaviour, Induction evenings and Autism Awareness courses.

Finding the perfect person for your school

Axcis offers assistance with day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent vacancies.  As a specialist SEND agency we understand that a one-size-fits all approach is not suitable. If you have time and it is appropriate, your dedicated consultant will visit your school, discuss your needs in detail and really understand your requirements before sending any staff in for an interview or trial day. We want to send you the right person the first time and cause as little disruption to the lives of your staff and students as possible. Contact (link to contact page) your local office now for a no obligation chat about your current staffing needs.
Even if you don’t currently have any vacancies, it can be useful for you to meet your Axcis consultant and explain the likely staffing needs you will have so they can start to seek out the right people for you and have them ready and waiting when you need them. This can be particularly relevant for SEND schools, which require highly specific skill sets in their supply staff.
We have an excellent track record in doing this, and our clients agree!
