Attention Youth workers in Swindon!
Due to growing demand Axcis Education is appealing to any youth workers that may be looking for a new challenge in special needs but still wish to utilise skills they have already acquired in their current line of work. Even if it is a case that you have been a supportive ear to a vulnerable child and helped them through a difficult time, you will have skills that can greatly help in a school environment.
Axcis Education are the leading special educational needs agency in the UK and we work with a wide range of establishments such as primary schools, secondary schools, SEND schools, alternative provisions, pupil referral units as well the less conventional such as prisons and hospitals. Whilst Autism is the most common condition we see among pupils, there are also opportunities working with those with more physical disabilities as well as pupils with behavioural/emotional difficulties.
Whether you drive or are on public transport - it does not matter, as long as you get about and around Swindon. Get in touch today!

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
