Job Title: x2, 1-to-1 SEND Teaching Assistants Required, Bromsgrove
Do you have experience supporting young people or adults with SEND needs? Are you seeking a new long-term role? We are working with a local primary school setting who are seeking to appoint two Learning Support Assistant’s to assist their learners. You will primarily be working on a 1-to-1 basis with the learners, previous experience is required as you will need to have a good understanding of Autism and be resilient to help build rapport as these roles are long-term for a minimum of the academic year 2025/26. Whilst one role will be supporting a child with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) and can have challenging behaviour traits, they will be going into year 2 in the new academic year and typically will build a strong rapport adults once they are working well with him. The other 1-to-1 vacancy is supporting a Year 4 child with global development delay and struggles to access the curriculum, you will need to be compassionate and understanding but ideally have experience working with non-verbal children. This role could continue after this academic year also. These roles will have weekly pay, at a daily rate of £89 per day (PAYE) and will be paid a week in arrears.
