Job Title: Waking Night and Sleep in Staff: Bristol
JOB LOCATION:
Bristol
Axcis are recruiting for Waking Night and Sleep In staff for residential settings. We work with lots of health and social care settings across Bristol including a respite centre, homes for children with SEMH and trauma and in children's private homes where they live with their parents. You will need a minimum of 3-6 months experience working with either children or people with special needs. You might have personal or volluntary experience. The majority of shift patterns range from 4pm-12pm, then you would sleep 12pm-7am and then work a short morning shift from 7am-10:30am. Waking nights are either 9pm-7am or 9:30pm-8:30am. Pay rates start from £11 per hour and we pay every week on a Friday. These hours would suit someone with other commitments such as children or studies. You will need to come in for a one hour registration meeting and you will need a valid DBS on the update service and a minimum of two references, one coming from a job where you have worked with children or adults with special needs. Call today if you want to book in a registration meeting. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Charise Clarke at Axcis Education on 0117 373 6127.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
