SEND, Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Northolt Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM Location: SEND Primary School, Northolt We are currently looking for a compassionate and patient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a specialist primary school in Northolt. This is a full-time role supporting children in Reception and KS1, with learning levels between 0–3 years old. The role will be split across two classes and will need someone proactive and positive, to liaise across 2 classes. The role will involve hoisting, personal care and a lot of sensory play, so caring experience is desirable and early years experience is a must. Key Requirements: -Experience in personal care -Early Years experience -Manual handling training or experience -A strong understanding of working with children with complex SEND needs -Ability to support children with care, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping them thrive -Enhanced DBS on the update service The school is seeking someone who is: -Compassionate and empathetic -Calm and patient under pressure -Committed to supporting young children with complex needs This school has great travel links, and is looking for someone to hit the ground running.
