Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Frome Setting: Specialist SEND School Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm Pay: £14.25 – £15.50 per hour PAYE Axcis Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Frome. This full-time Teaching Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work with children and young people with SEND. The setting provides highly personalised education, with a strong focus on helping pupils develop academic abilities alongside functional, communication, social and independent living skills. As a Teaching Assistant, you will help pupils make progress in ways that are meaningful to them while supporting their confidence and enjoyment of learning. This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone who is patient, adaptable and able to recognise that every pupil has different strengths, needs and ways of learning.
