Teaching Assistant Job in Yeovil – All Through School – SEMH Support
Are you looking for a Teaching Assistant job in Yeovil? We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive all through school in Yeovil providing dedicated SEMH support to students across a range of age groups.
In this Teaching Assistant role you will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support students with social emotional and mental health needs. The Teaching Assistant will provide one to one and small group support helping pupils manage behaviour develop emotional regulation and stay engaged in learning. You will play a key role in promoting positive routines building trust and encouraging both academic and personal progress.
This Teaching Assistant position is ideal for someone patient resilient and confident in supporting young people who may face behavioural or emotional challenges. Experience in SEMH support behaviour mentoring youth work or education is beneficial but not essential making this Teaching Assistant opportunity suitable for graduates support workers or those looking to progress in education.

Location: Yeovil
Role: Teaching Assistant – All Through School – SEMH Support
Pay: £13.84 – £14.61 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
Start Date: ASAP
