SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism Resource Provision (ARP) – Havering £95–£105 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term | Primary | ARP Setting Axcis are supporting a welcoming mainstream primary school in Havering with a well-established Autism Resource Provision (ARP) of approximately 12 pupils. The school is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work within the ARP, supporting pupils with autism across structured and personalised learning sessions. The ARP offers a calm, highly structured environment with specialist support strategies, while also encouraging inclusion into mainstream lessons where appropriate. This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of autism, sensory needs and communication differences. In this role, you will: • Support pupils with autism within the ARP setting • Assist with structured learning sessions and personalised timetables • Use visuals, sensory strategies and communication aids • Support transitions between ARP and mainstream classrooms • Contribute to EHCP outcomes and progress tracking What we’re looking for: • Experience working with autism (ARP or special school experience desirable) • Understanding of sensory regulation and structured routines • Calm, consistent and nurturing approach • Ability to work as part of a specialist SEND team • Full-time availability A fantastic opportunity to join a well-supported ARP in Havering where autism support is prioritised.
