I am working with a fabulous primary school in Birmingham - Sutton Coldfield - who are looking for a teaching assistant to come on board - full time for whole academic year - to support a child with special educational needs and disabilities. The child will require 1:1 support and requires the use of a wheelchair full time. The school are looking for a committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant who can support this child on a full time basis Monday to friday 830-330. It would be advantageous if you have a level 3 NVQ in childcare and have experience in supporting SEND within mainstream schools. This is a temporary position. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
