Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Salary: Competitive; paid to scale We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in the heart of Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with a proven track record of supporting teachers and nurturing a positive learning environment for students. Responsibilities: • Assist in planning, delivering and assessing a varied and stimulating curriculum. • Support individual students and small groups, ensuring their access to learning resources and facilitating their understanding of the material. • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop and implement educational strategies that cater to the needs of all pupils. • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning. • Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events. • Observe and record student progress while managing classroom behaviour effectively. • Provide administrative support, such as preparing materials and documenting student progress when needed. • Liaise with parents and guardians regarding student development and learning challenges.
