Teaching Assistant – General Classroom Support

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Kennington area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team and make a real difference in the classroom.
The Role:
• Supporting the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum
• Helping pupils to stay engaged and focused during lessons
• Offering one-to-one and small group support where needed
• Assisting with classroom preparation and resource setting
• Helping manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way
• Supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• A genuine passion for working with children
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience working with secondary aged children (school, volunteer or youth work experience welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management and reliability
