As a Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for high school students who may require additional support due to social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Your responsibilities will include: -Providing One-on-One Support: Offering individualised support to students to help them overcome emotional and behavioural barriers to learning. -Classroom Assistance: Assisting teachers in managing classroom dynamics, fostering a positive atmosphere, and ensuring that students can engage in the learning process effectively. -Behavioural Interventions: Implementing behavioural management strategies to de-escalate situations and support students in developing self-regulation skills. You will need to be experienced supporting children or vulnerable adults, however not necessarily in a school environment.
