JOB LOCATION:

Axcis Education is working in partnership with a special needs secondary school in Liverpool, who are seeking to appoint an experienced and confident SEND teaching assistant. The school has a welcoming ethos; built on respect and teamwork, with a highly supportive leadership team and governing body. The role is supporting pupils with a range of SEND including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex needs and autism and will involve working alongside other teachers to help to plan effective and interactive lessons. Successful candidates will: - Have previous experience working in a similar setting with children / young adults with SEND including PMLD, ASC and complex needs - Be able to demonstrate high aspirations for all learners - Have a flexible approach to meet the holistic needs of the pupils Axcis Education offer competitive rates of pay as well as many opportunities for further training and continuing professional development. This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
