We are currently recruiting a dedicated KS1 Interventions Specialist for an 'Outstanding' Primary School in Altrincham. This role is highly targeted, focusing entirely on boosting reading, writing, and numeracy confidence for small groups of pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 who need a little extra help. Your Main Responsibilities: • Delivering structured, high-impact phonics intervention sessions to small groups of pupils. • Pulling pupils out of the main classroom to run targeted catch-up sessions in literacy and math. • Monitoring, tracking, and recording pupil progress, feeding back data directly to the KS1 Lead. • Creating bespoke, engaging learning resources to keep pupils motivated. • Working collaboratively with class teachers to tailor support to individual learning styles.
