Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Humanities - General Support - KS3/4 - Trafford
Axcis Education is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Trafford that is looking for a teaching assistant to join them from after May half term non a full-time basis; working in the Humanities Department. The school is keen to secure an ideal candidate who has a solid understanding of mathematics to assist across both KS3 and KS4. Ideal candidates may be History/ Geography/ other Humanities graduates; or even somebody who has studied a Humanities subject to A-Level. Recent experience working in a mainstream secondary school as a support assistant is essential. The role would be working alongside a number of class teachers within the Humanities Department. The ideal candidate will take direction for the class teacher; as well as use their own initiative to ensure high quality teaching and learning. This Trafford based secondary school is has strong senior leaders and a clear vision for the future. Pupils enjoy a safe learning environment centred on respect. Attendance is above average through the school. The school offers excellent transport links both public and by car. This is a full-time role to begin after the May half-term and will be until the end of the year. This is a temporary position.
