This a diverse, vibrant and urban school that has a strong team of permanent staff who can support agency supply. They are looking for aTA who has experience in supportin secondary pupils who have a range of SEND and who understand the challenges and joys of working with young people who have ASD and some SEMH. The role is temporary with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school is a popular Secondary school with a great reputation and is well resourced, with interactive whiteboard in most classrooms. This fantastic school uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. The position is general in-class support - you may be expected to work one to one, in small groups or providing general in-class support as required. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people. You will be required to work with small groups of secondary age pupils, assisting them with their literacy and numeracy skills and helping to keep them on task.
