Job Title: Teaching Assistant - DT Experience - Full Time
Are you an inspiring and engaging Teaching Assistant with experience in DT? Are you looking for your next role in Lancashire? If so, this could be the job for you. I am currently working with a very well run and resourced secondary SEMH school in Skelmersdale. They are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant with knowledge of working in a DT department. This exciting new role is full time and will run until the end of the academic year. The school has small classes of 8 and the new DT department is well resourced to ensure lessons can be fun and interactive while following the schools engaging curriculum. The hours for this role are 8.15am to 2.45pm, Monday to Friday. This school also has plenty of outside space and staff are given the autonomy to engage the children and bring out their creative side. Weekly Forest School sessions are available for all classes and interaction with the schools therapy dog has proved a huge success in helping to calm and focus the pupils. I am holding interviews for this position next week and the school want to appoint someone as soon as the right candidate has been found. For an informal chat, please call Jacqueline on 0151 448 2810 or email your CV to This is a temporary position. INDJOBS

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
