Axcis Education are currently working in partnership with a primary school based in the Bolton area, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant to support the school on a full time basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a mainstream school with children who have ADHD and show some challenging behaviours. You will play a pivotal role in the development and support of the students, so you will need to have a strong understanding of the complications of working with these types of students. This will be working in classes which have some very challenging behaviours, Team Teach training would be ideal in this setting as some behaviour can be extremely challenging.
The school are really hot on their SEND, and with a new SLT in place they are keen to really develop the SEND provision in the school, and are able to provide ongoing support and training to ensure you are able to operate to the best of your ability. They are able to offer a permanent position to the right candidate, and once in a permanent placement they will continue to develop and support you with your career.
