Full time Teaching Assistant required to work with challenging ASD students within the ages of 5 and 11. This is an ongoing/long term role within a mainstream primary school in the Hemel Hempstead area. There is an SEND unit catering for children with autism on this site. Your role will include working as a Teaching Assistant with children in this unit. The autism needs vary and you are fully supported by an experienced but welcoming, friendly team. This is a medium sized school with good public transport links and numerous areas of off site parking available. To be considered for this role, you must have had some prior experience of working with children in a primary school or childcare setting. No specific qualifications are required for this position. As well as myself supporting you and on hand at all times Axcis are able to offer a range of CPD courses and online resources This is a temporary position.
